Annette was the embodiment of kindness, unwavering faith, and quiet strength. She had a remarkable gift for listening and always made those around her feel heard, valued, and loved. Loyal to her family and friends, she cherished the relationships she built throughout her life. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved, and family was always at the center of her heart.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of more than 60 years, Nicholas Markakis; her sisters, Frances and Martha; and all those who welcomed her with open arms into eternal life.
Annette is lovingly survived by her three children: Steven (Charlene) Markakis, Lisa (John) Ferraro, and Nikki (Patrick) McNerney. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Nicholas (Natalie), Alyson, Michael, Matthew (Jessica), Kate, and Shayla, and a treasured great-grandmother to Milana, Catalina, Alyssa, Connor, and Ryan. She is also survived by her brother, Ed, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her kindness and compassion.
