Barbara Anne Meehan

Barbara Anne Meehan entered eternal life on June 16, 2026. Above all else, Barbara was a deeply faith-filled person. Her devotion to her faith guided her life. It was the foundation of the immense kindness and generosity she showed to everyone she met. She genuinely loved helping people. Her life was a beautiful reflection of her beliefs and an ongoing reminder of St. Teresa of Calcutta’s (Mother Teresa’s) words:

"Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile."

Barbara was also a master storyteller and an amazing cook. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, always filled with laughter, love, and the smell of outstanding food. Her legendary, amazing sauce and signature dishes brought family and friends together around her table. Her captivating stories and nourishing meals (food for body and soul!) created cherished memories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 234 Broadway, Bethpage, NY 11714, US, on June 22, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, 220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY 11714, US, on June 22, 2026, from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.

Interment will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590, US, on June 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
