Charles was the beloved husband of Carol, with whom he shared 65 loving years of marriage. Their life together was filled with love, devotion, family, and countless cherished memories. He adored his wife Carol, and she was truly the love of his life.
He was the loving father of Charles McDonald, Jr. (Dawn), James McDonald (Kristen), Maureen Losquadro (the late Michael Losquadro), and Brian McDonald (Kathlynn).
Charles was a cherished Poppy to Christina, Connor, Dakota, Danielle, Jessica, Madison, Jonathan, Kaitlin, Emily, Ryan, and Emma. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His love, warmth, and devotion to his family will remain in their hearts forever. Charles enjoyed listening to the music of the 1950s and took great pleasure in the simple joys of life, especially those shared with his family. Above all, he will be remembered for the love he had for his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Charles leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial Visitation will be held for family and friends to gather on Monday August 31, 2026 at 9:30 AM- 10:45 AM at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 234 Broadway, Bethpage, New York 11714. A Mass service will follow at 11:15 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, Bethpage, New York. Interment of ashes will be held at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery in Flushing, New York. May Charles rest in eternal peace, surrounded forever by the love he gave so freely to his family.
