Francis E. Searles

Francis "Frank" E. Searles, 69, of Bethpage, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 3, 1956, to the late Patricia and Francis Searles, Frank was a man of profound integrity and resilience. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, a period of his life that solidified the values of discipline and commitment he carried until his final days.

In his civilian life, Frank was defined by a quiet but powerful generosity. He was a dedicated advocate for those in need, often spending cold nights at local railroad stations providing food and blankets to the homeless. His selflessness and unwavering compassion through community outreach programs touched countless lives in his community. Frank is survived by his siblings Donna, Susan, Steven, Jeffery, and Thomas, along with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He brought warmth and steadfast support to all who knew him.

Frank was a cherished brother-in-law to Bill, Eileen, Michele, and Evelyn and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, stepfather George Montigny, and his cherished niece, Laura Lee. In honor of Frankie’s legacy of service and kindness, donations may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation or a local food bank. His excellence and heart will be forever remembered by the family and country he served so well.

Visitation services will be held at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, located at 234 Broadway, Bethpage, NY 11714, on February 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, located at 220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY 11714, on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
