

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Ann Ridley (born June 28, 1963; age 62) on February 11, 2026. Jacqueline, known to her family and friends as Jackie, passed away after a brief illness at the Brookhaven Medical Facility in East Patchogue, NY with her husband James, of 37 years at her bedside. Jackie was born in Brooklyn, NY and adopted by her late parents Peter and Elizabeth Safonte, and was raised by her beloved mother and stepfather, the late Alfred Schoenig. Jackie grew up in Far Rockaway, NY and Rockville Centre, NY. She married James Allen Ridley, of Bethpage, NY, at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, NY, on September 9, 1988.
Jackie earned an Associate in Sciences Degree from Nassau Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. Before retiring she worked for Family Residences and Essential Enterprises and the Hauppauge Industrial Association as an Event Planner.
Most importantly, Jackie nurtured and loved her family and received deep love in return. Jackie is survived by her husband James, Sr.; her son James II, (Cristina) of Ronkonkoma, NY, her daughter Katherine Ridley (Devyn) of Latham, NY; granddaughter Evelina and brothers James (Phaedra) and John (Demetra); her sister-in-law Maureen Ridley Perez and several loving nieces and nephews as well as her loving dogs, Harley and Lexi..
A Visitation will be held at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, located at 234 Broadway, Bethpage, New York, 11714, on March 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass is scheduled for March 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, 220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY, 11714, US.
Entombment of ashes will take place on March 3, 2026, from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, East Farmingdale, NY, 11735, US.
