Janice A. Kaufmann

Janice was the beloved daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Breisacher, who raised her with strong values, compassion, and kindness—qualities that Janice carried with her throughout her life. She was a loving sister to Fred Breisacher and a cherished cousin to Anne Hayes, sharing close bonds filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

Janice dedicated her professional life to caring for others, serving as a Patient Liaison at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bethpage, New York. In this role, she was a comforting presence to countless patients and families, known for her empathy, patience, and genuine desire to help others during difficult times. Her work was more than a job—it was a reflection of her generous heart. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, located at 234 Broadway, Bethpage, New York 11714. A Religious Service will be held Friday evening (time to be determined). Private final disposition will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice’s memory may be made to Therapy Dogs of Long Island (TDOLI), honoring her compassion and love for comfort and healing.
