

Patricia A. Goyon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 7, 2026. Born on July 25, 1943, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Edwin and Marion Waters. She was the devoted wife of the late Stephen A. Goyon, Jr., with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and created countless cherished memories through their travels, cruises, and many evenings spent enjoying the casinos, whether aboard a cruise ship or in Atlantic City.
Patricia was the devoted mother of Christine (Albert) Obuchowski, Susan Goyon (Theresa), and the late Tracey Ann, whose memory remained forever in her heart . She was a cherished grandmother to Daniel Obuchowski (Brianna), Nicolas Obuchowski, Shannon Obuchowski, William Pilc, Amanda Karakostas (Peter), Vito Delustro, and Laura Boyce (Jesse). Patricia was especially proud to become a great-grandmother and adored her great-grandson, Daniel James Obuchowski. She was the dear sister of Dorothy LaGois, Robert Waters, and the late Roseann Waters. Family was the center of Patricia's life. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren and was overjoyed when she learned she would become a great-grandmother. Some of her happiest memories were family cruises filled with laughter, love, and togetherness.
Patricia enjoyed many of life's pleasures, including attending Broadway shows, playing cards with friends, dining out, shopping, and caring for her beloved animals. She appreciated the finer things in life and always enjoyed having her nails perfectly done. Strong-willed, spirited, and unforgettable, Patricia was affectionately known as "Queen Patricia." Her family often said she was born with a crown, a fitting tribute to her strength, grace, and commanding presence.
Patricia's love, devotion, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the countless memories she created with them.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 234 Broadway, Bethpage, New York 11714. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at St. Martin of Tours, Bethpage, New York. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
