Paul was a devoted husband to Dorothy for 59 years, father to Michael, Steven, Kenny, and Keith, Grandpa to Shannon, Katelyn, Ryan, Caroline, Kenny, Joseph, Sierra, Charlotte, and Gavin and Great Grandpa to Gryffin.
Paul was proudly part of the Navy as a mechanic before he continued his commitment to protecting others by joining the FDNY.
Paul then retired to spend time with his children and grandchildren and improve things by hand around the house. His grandchildren loved visiting him to enjoy sweet treats with him, especially his famous snack of waffles with ice cream. His grandkids really enjoyed playing games with Paul who loved making them laugh, "poking fun" to cheer them up. He created such a welcoming home with Dorothy that his sons, their family, and their kids are always visiting. The grandkids loved seeing him support them at gymnastics meets, basketball and lacrosse games, and track meets, sharing his love of sport through his sons with his grandkids.
