Teresa was a resident of Bethpage, NY for 65 years, where she raised three children: Debra (Mark), Shirley (Joe) and predeceased by Terri Marie (1986).
She participated fully in life and her community. Her faith was the guiding light of her life- ensuring all three children received a Christian education, by attending St. Martin of Tours School where Teresa volunteered and was known for her laughter while serving as a "Hot Lunch Mother". She attended mass daily followed by breakfast with the girls who became known as the "Bagel Ladies". She also was a member of the Christian Mothers and Young at Heart Club.
She served on the Board of the Police Athletic League, formerly known as the Police Boys Club, where she also taught weekly arts and craft classes. Teresa was a founding member of the Bethpage Saint Patrick's Day Parade committee, where she served for many years. Teresa excelled in numbers and worked as a bookkeeper for Action Crane and then was a public servant at the Bethpage Water District for 20 years, until retirement. Her favorite past times were traveling, gardening and shopping.
Her strong faith helped her weather many health issues in recent years. Teresa passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
