Craig S. Lawrence

Chenango Bridge, NY: Craig S. Lawrence, 52, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013, with his family at his side after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Lawrence and his father, James Lawrence. He is survived by his loving family, wife of 26 years, Kelly; son, Brendon Lawrence; daughter, Ashley Lawrence; sister, Debbie Tierney; parents-in-law, Judy and Don Hevland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Bob Topa; niece, Kristy Topa; nephew, Justin Topa; several cousins, special friends and loving pets, Cleo, Kasey, and Phenix. He graduated from Chenango Forks High School, Class of 1980, and SUNY Delhi in 1982. He was the proud owner of American Deck Builders for many years. Craig enjoyed hockey, golf, and watching the Dallas Cowboys with his buddies. Craig will be remembered as a generous man who continued to give by donating the gift of sight. The family wishes to thank St. Francis of Assisi Church, Dr. Yalamanchili, the staff of Broome Onoclogy for their loving care and the community for the support shown at the benefit for Craig. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. The family will receive friends from from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
