Donald A. Pratt

Donald A. Pratt, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his home. He was predeceased by his father, Robert C. Pratt; mother, Leona Jones; son, Robert T. Pratt; brothers-in-law, Nick Micalizzi and Joseph Micalizzi. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Antoinette (Micalizzi) Pratt, Binghamton; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Danielle Pratt, Binghamton; grandchildren, Makenna and Samantha Pratt, Binghamton; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Steve Pyluck, Vestal; brother, Jerry Pratt, Friendsville, PA; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Micalizzi and Nancy Micalizzi, both of Binghamton; sister-in-law, Pauline Micalizzi, Johnson City, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Jeanie Jones, Buffalo, NY; brother, Bob Jones, PA; several nieces and nephews. Donald was a carpenter and also worked at GAF for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. His hobbies included gardening, spending summers camping and being with his grandchildren. He is a member of the AOH and former member of the Elks Lodge 852.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 21, 2012 at 8:45 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson and continue at 9:30 AM in St. Paul’s Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Sunday from 4 – 7 PM. Memorial contributions in Donald’s memory may be made to the East Side Youth Association, 21 Blanchard Ave, Binghamton, NY 13901.
