Dorothy G. Jamieson

Dorothy G. Jamieson, 97, passed away peacefully to be with her lord on December 28, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallingford (Red) Jamieson; her daughter, Sandra Mead; her parents, Eva and Harry Coy; her brothers, Donald Coy and Clifford Coy; and her sister, Joan Garvey. Survivors include her children, Charles Coy Jamieson; Donna Marie Church; and Linda and Bob McCormick; her grandchildren, Theresa and Branden, Candace, Michelle, Jim and Melissa, Tammy and Chuck, Karl, Kevin and Helma, and Carrie; 12 great-grandchildren; her son in law, Stephen Mead; many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. Dorothy was a sales clerk at Fowler's Department Store for over 15 years, and a longtime member of Chenango Bridge United Methodist Church. She was very devoted and loving to he family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 31, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson. Burial will follow at Glen Castle Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to First United Methodist Church of Chenango Bridge, 740 River Rd. Chenango Bridge, NY 13745.
