Binghamton: Edith C. Walker of Binghamton, 94, passed away on December 18, 2012. She was pre deceased by her husband, Leo F. Walker; sister, Mabel Jagger; parents, Howard and Minnie Smith. Edith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Leslie Walker of Binghamton; gransons, Edward and wife Tracey, Mack, Landon and great grandaughter, Brynn. Edith was a devoted wife, mother and care giver to many family members. She was a strong willed hard worker, well read and educated. She loved all animals especially her cats.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery at the convienence of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church in her memory. Thank you to the staff and nurses at Elizabeth Church Manor they all loved Edith.
