Elaine (Bernita) Myers, 81, of Binghamton, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, after a short illness with her loving family beside her. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Nellie Kolanda; her brothers, Jack and Warren; and her sister, Jeanne. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Victor; her daughter, Vickie (Gary) Brown; her sons, Ted (Sheila) Myers, Tim (Veronica) Myers, Steve (Tina) Myers, and Randy (Cheryal) Myers; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lorraine and Sharon; and a large extended family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with Rev. William L. Puckey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
