

Emilio migrated to the USA in 1971 with his wife Santina and their 4 children.
Emilio is predeceased by his wife Santina Tomassetti and Grandson Mario D. Masciarelli.
Emilio is survived by his loving children; Aldo Tomassetti Sr; Daughters, Adele Krolewski, Rosalinda O’Neill, Mirella Masciarelli-Walsh (Terry); His amazing and loving grandchildren, Aldo Jr, Jessica, Joshua, Stephanie, Jacob, Jennifer, 6 great grandchildren, one great great grandson. A wonderful sister-in-law Mera Mattioli who always came and visited with him over these past years after Santina had passed.
Emilio worked for Masciarelli construction for over 40 years where he was known as the, “best pipe layer of all time”. Emilio took great pride in his work and at being the best at his job. Even after his retirement other construction companies would hire him to teach others how to lay pipe and make sure they did not leak.
Emilio like his wife took great pride in their yearly vegetable gardens which they shared with family and friends proudly.
Emilio was a member of “Abruzzese Social Club” in Binghamton where he spent most weekends playing cards and having a few beers with his friends. Emilio took great pride in helping cook and serve during their yearly, “Spaghetti Dinner”. He always made sure that his family would show up to enjoy the food and he would sit and eat with us when we arrived. Emilio loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face when company came and of course be ready to eat and share some stories about life in Italy when he was growing up while enjoying some wine.
Emilio was a friend to all and always there when you needed a helping hand and even if you did not he would help anyways.
Due to the rise in Covid and to keep everyone as safe as possible the viewing and entombment will be for immediate family only. Please say a prayer for Emilio or share a story about him to pay your respect if possible.
