Gilda M. Tyler died peacefully Sunday, December 12, 2021 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Walter Duane Tyler; she is survived by her son, Steven (Cindy Cook-Tyler); 4 grandchildren, Erica (Erin) McCoy, Denise (Katie Scott) Tyler, Derrick (Colette) Tyler, and Brittany (Danny) Schreiber; 6 great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Ian, Evan, Dane, Kendall, and Raylan; sister-in-law, Betty Nocciolino; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gilda loved her family and cherished her grandchildren, and she was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her newest great-grandbaby.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, 10:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 37 Fayette St., Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elizabeth Church Manor or to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Gilda's life will be held later at a time to be announced.
