James “Jimmy” M. Church died unexpectedly Sunday, December 19, 2021 at age 51. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Church; and grandparents, Red and Dorothy Jamieson. He is survived by his wife, Melissa “Missy” Church; children, James “JJ” Church, Johnny Fassett, and Kristen Fassett; grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, and Niemiah Fassett; his mother, Donna Church; sister, Michelle Church; mother-in-law, Linda Simonds; sister-in-law, Lori (Sonny) Fassett-Pratt; brothers-in-law, Dan (Margaret) Fassett, David (Tina) Fassett, and Joe Fassett; and several nephews and nieces, including, Miccala Church and Joe-Joe Fassett. Jimmy is also survived by his best friend, Fred (Missy) Benning, and many other friends.
Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and ice fishing. He loved his children and family, and will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:30pm, in Glen Castle Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home.
