Jane M. Griffith of Binghamton, 85, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 8, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, John Griffith. Jane is survived by her loving family, daughters, Theresa & Joe Gould of Windsor, Peggy & Tom Marcello of Binghamton; grandchildren, Joseph Gould, Katherine & Brian Bernys and Thomas & Kiera Marcello; great grandchildren, Lucy & Brian Bernys; also many special friends. Jane was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption church and a retiree of the former River Mede Manor also an avid cat lover. She was a loving and devout mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by many. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Castle Creek. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
