Jerry W. McBride of Whitney Point, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents. Jerry is survived by his loving family, wife, Catherine; daughter, Annmarie of NY; son, George of FL; daughter, Peggy; sons, Jimmy, Jerrry Eugene of TN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Faye & Betty of TN, Nellie of OK; several nieces and nephews. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran having served 14 years and with three tours in Viet Nam, he then drove truck and retired from that. There will be a visitation time from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901 following that Military Honors will take place.
