John J. Krinik
June 13, 1947 – March 13, 2021
John J Krinik passed away on Saturday March 13th, after he succumbed to the long term effects of the lung disease, bronchiectasis. John was born and raised in Mattydale, NY, which is where he met the love of his life, Beverly. In 1978 they settled in Binghamton, NY, where they raised their children and he worked for Security Mutual Life Insurance, as an Underwriter and the VP of Underwriting. In 1989 he pursued his dreams and went out on his own as the Editor and Publisher of Underwriter Alert, and then later On The Risk, where he continued until he retired in 2018. This journey also took him all over the world where he was teaching and training underwriters. John will forever be remembered for his love of music, and dancing, which he passed along to his children, and his love for watching sports and movies. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly, his son Michael and Ruby, daughter Elizabeth and Brian Koyce, and grandchildren Owen and Libby. John was also a loving uncle and brother-in-law to many. A Memorial Mass will be offered on June 12th, 2021, at St Francis of Assisi Church 1049 Chenango St. Binghamton, NY. John was the dearest friend I ever had. He was one of the true superstars of our profession and I was privileged to share the stage with him worldwide. My grieving is tempered by the certain knowledge we will be together soon on the spirit plane.
