Kristi L. Lockett was 48 years of age when she left to be with the Lord on July 12, 2018. She was born on May 13, 1970. She went to school at Montrose high school. Kristi fought hard to overcome the complications that arose from her illness. She excelled at her job for over 30 years at Arby’s, while leaving and unforgettable impression on everyone she met. Kristi enjoyed cross stitching, spending time outdoors while camping at Chenango Valley State Park. Kristi’s personality was as big as her nails! She is pre-deceased by her Mudder and Pop, Veronica and Eddie Lockett, dad, George “Dick” Lockett. She is survived by her significant other of over 20 years, Paul Galusha, daughter Allison and granddaughter Mia, whom she absolutely adored! She is also survived by her sister Jodi Villanella and her family Doug, Julia, Britney, Amber, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Emily. Kristi had some wonderful friends / family who supported and helped through her journey , Heather, Linda, Andi, Marilyn (Yvonne ), Stephanie , Samantha, Elena, her oak dale mall family. We would like to thank her cousin Tonya Pyle, for providing her comfort during her fight. Kristi’s Family will be holding a private burial service. We encourage friends and family to come and celebrate Kristi’s life on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Pines pavilion located at Chenango Valley State Park. The celebration will begin at 5 PM. We ask that those who wish to attend to please bring a dish for all to enjoy as we celebrate the joy and love Kristi brought to our lives. Thank you to Lourdes Hospice for all their support.
