Kyle R. Wilcox

We are crushed. Our hearts are forever wounded as we lost our precious Kyle to an automobile accident on August 13. Kyle shined like a diamond, our blessing from God, who was always bright, kind and helpful to everyone. He was born on October 2, 1991, the son of Jerry and Sandy Wilcox and brother to Jesse Wilcox. Along with his parents and brother, Kyle is survived by his grandmothers, Delores Bray, and Jean Wilcox; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends. Kyle graduated from Chenango Valley High School, Broome Community College with a degree in Business Administration, and SUNY Cortland with a degree in Business Economics. He was excited and ready to make his mark on the world. He was always seen with a smile on his face and he loved to laugh and spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed tennis, hiking and especially football. Kyle loved life. Funeral and committal services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 17, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, with Rev. Daniel Ling officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
