Windsor: Mary E. Prentice, 99, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Prentice Sr., her son, Gary; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, Edward and Linda Prentice Jr., Robert and Carol Prentice, William and Cindy Prentice and Andrea Burnett; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor where Mary was able to make many friends throughout her stay there. A funeral service will be held today, Monday, December 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY 13901 with Janet Abel officiating. The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice .
