Ruth M. Scott, 68, of Port Crane, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016, 10 days shy of her 48th wedding anniversary to the love of her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Skip Abbey. She is survived by her loving husband, George W. Scott; daughter, Amy Fassett and Bill Lawrence; son, Christopher Scott; grandchildren, Lacee, Cody, JoeJoe, Taylor & Morgan, Brendan and Bradley; her special dog, Lily. The family wishes to thank the CCU Staff at Wilson Memorial and Dr. Yousuf. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4-6 pm at the Wm. R.
