Sandra M. Pourby

Sandra M. (Santi) Pourby, 77, of Johnson City, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022 after a brief illness.Sandy was a born on October 14, 1944 and graduated from Binghamton North High. Sandy was a hard worker and worked several jobs during her lifetime but her time as a manager in the cosmetics department at Philadelphia Sales was one of the most memorable. Sandy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Theodore. Her parents Dante Pietrosanti and Natalie (Milton) Lipa; her in-laws John and Rose Pourby and her brother, Donald (Cheryl) Santi. She is survived by her children Michael (Lori) and their daughters Lexi, Mikayla, and Mariela; her son, John and his children, JT and Sydney; her brother Robert (Penny) Santi; her sister-in-law Sister Karen Pourby OSF, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Sandy was a devoted mother and grandmother; and made her family feel special. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren; her hobbies included going to the flea market on Sundays, collecting recipes, shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, making crafts, attending craft shows, and eating. She was adamant that every meal should end in dessert, and not just one either! She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her but know she is probably cooking for her family in Heaven. Calling hours will be held at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, New York on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 9:00-10:00 am with a service beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
