Susan Ferris

Our mother, Susan Raye (Bulger) Ferris, passed away on December 4, 2021. She was born on March 7, 1942 in Rumford, Maine. She spent her life loving her husband, raising children, and caring for the elderly. She was the greatest cook who never measured anything; crocheted countless doilies, afghans, and baby outfits; enjoyed bowling with her Queen Pins; and was very artistic as shown in all her doodling. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Ferris; their infant daughter; their infant great-grandson, Andrew Burkhalter; her parents Patrick Bulger and Phyllis Hall; and her siblings, Patricia Hallett, Jon (Michael), Timothy, Joseph, and Kevin Bulger. She leaves behind their children, Kelly and Richard Rockwell, Lori and Roy Husung, Garner and Colleen Ferris, Emily and Mike Zachar, Debbie and John Merrell, April and Eric Lucks, Lesley and David Gibson, and Jennifer and Johnny Angelo; their grandchildren, Amanda and Dan Burkhalter, Elizabeth and Ben McCary, Emmaleigh, Hayleigh, and Caroline Hishman and Myah Lucks, Hannah, Matthew and Michaela, and Nicholas Merrell, Kaitlyn and Doug Yencer, Allyssa and Lyndsay Husung, Taylor and Garrett Kornacki, Jacob and Amber Zachar, and Zachary Gibson; their great-grandchildren Leighton, Cooper, Silas, Caleb, and Sydney McCary, Adelyn, Mason, and Emma Burkhalter, and Raelynn Zachar; her sister, Erin and Bill Mix; her sister-in-law, Karen Bulger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
