Amy D. Joiner

Joiner, Amy Delores Kelley, age 54, of Birmingham, died January 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Kathryn Kelley; and brothers, Billy Kelley and Kenneth Kelley. She is survived by her husband, Lewis E. Joiner; sons, Thorn Joiner of Pea Ridge, AL, Dustin Joiner and Devin Joiner, both of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Renee Martin (Ed) of Pea Ridge, AL, Tracy Cannon (David) of Brookwood, AL, and Abigail Joiner of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Dakota Martin, Savannah Cannon and Jacob Cannon; brothers, Wayne Kelley and John Kelley, both of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Kathy Ree Thomas of Morris, AL and Linda Kay House (Billy Joe) of Birmingham.

Amy was a truly unique and hardworking woman who could do almost anything from plumbing to electrical to mechanical work. She always took care of her family and loved to can fruits and vegetables. When she died, she was working on making Dr. Suess hats for the local school children as she had done so many times before. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
