Andrew Jackson Allison Jr. passed away peacefully on October 20, 2020. He was born on April 24, 1937 in Birmingham, AL. He is survived by his wife Leigh Hill Allison and their children Andrew Allison (Jennifer) and Page Roper (Henry) and his grandchildren Maggie, Kathryn, Jackson Allison, Olivia Roper, Allison Roper and brother Dan Allison (Lucy). He was predeceased by his daughter Lele Allison, parents Andrew Jackson Allison Sir. Mary Mahone and sister Mary Allison Champion. Jack was the very proud to be the first person to graduate from Indian Springs School. He graduated from The University of Alabama and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity where he shared many fond memories. He was a member of The Birmingham Country Club and Willow Point Country Club and enjoyed playing golf with the Gravy Train golf group. He was also a member of the Monday morning Quarterback Club. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and bird hunting. He also loved taking many trips with his family and friends. He worked in the family oil business, Allison Oil with his brother and father and went on to become a pioneer in the carwash business through sales and operations. He was a firm believer in Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ and he was looking forward to eternity in heaven. Jack was a member of The Canterbury Methodist Church where he loved attending the Crawford Owens Sunday School class. Jack also enjoyed volunteering with the brownbag club which was a food donation service. The services will be private. Donations can be made to Canterbury Methodist Church 350 Overbrook Rd.
