She spent her childhood there and married her husband, Edward Louis Boackle, on July 4, 1956 at Immaculate Conception. A devoted wife, caring mother, and passionate homemaker, Angela was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She was constantly welcoming everyone into her home which was always full. Her presence brought joy to anyone she met, and her smile was contagious. Angela dedicated her life to helping others. She was also a faithful member of St. Elias Maronite Church. Over the years, she had become very involved with the church volunteering with the Ladies Altar Society. Angela peacefully passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, in Bessemer, AL at the age of 80. Angela was born to be a mother with a great sense of humor. She will be remembered as lively, patient, hard-working, but mostly calm regardless of what happened. There was never a dull moment around the Boackle house. She had a green thumb, generously sharing the produce from her bountiful garden. Her most cherished time was spent surrounded by family. She is survived by her children Renee Ritchey, Lawrence (Tomie Ann) Boackle, Louis (Misti) Boackle, and Russell Boackle. She was an incredible "Sitty" to eight grandchildren Thomas (Casey) Ritchey, Angela (Juan) LaRota, Kristen (Brent) Bruser, Mac, Josi, Russell, Edward, and Laura Boackle and seven great-grandchildren Preston, Eva, Bodie, Brooklyn, Javi, Luke, and Charlie Ann.
