Anne will be missed here at Southside Library. She loved books and always had a recommendation for a good read. Anne always had a smile and a kind word for library staff. Teresa Ceravolo, Southside Branch Library, Birmingham AL

Anne and I had been out of touch for a while as I dealt with my own health problems, but I will always remember our friendship. She was a warm and kind person, smart and liked to keep up with what was going on in the world. We had many lively conversations. I met her in the mid 80's, and we had some fun times together. I will miss you, dear Anne, and am sad that we had been out of touch.

Anne was my shorthand and typing teacher at Banks High School. I will never forget her kindness to me. She was a great teacher. I will forever remember the things she taught me.

I will always remember Anne fondly as my old friend and classmate during our grammer, highschool and college years. She always found a way to reach out to me via our Facebook connection and would keep me abreast of happenings in Birmingham. I will miss you Anne but always remember your kindnesses and interest in others well being.
