

Bradford Glenn Watson went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Elizabeth Craig Watson, and his brother, Terry Watson. He is survived by his loving wife Dianne Snead Watson, son Stephen Craig Watson, daughters Jennifer Marie Watson, Patricia Watson Martin and Jamie Gilchrest Turner (Bo), grandchildren Angela Marie Sessaman (Ronnie), Julianne Pierce, Madelyn Nicole Martin, Mackenzie Jean Martin, Gordon Gerald Turner, III -- Trey and Elizabeth Bailey Turner. Brad graduated from Nichols Country Day School in NY and received a B.A. Degree from Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Iceland. Brad had a full and productive life in sales including RT French Company, Bama Foods and Alabaster Industries prior to founding Brad Watson & Associates, a multiline promotional products group. He had a tremendous zest for life, his family and friends, golf, Auburn football and the Atlanta Braves. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1st at Saint Peter's of the Apostle Catholic Church, 2061 Patton Chapel Road, Birmingham, AL 35216. A celebration of Brad's life will be held immediately following the service. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Lorie Johnson Foundation, P.O. Box 381284, Birmingham, AL 35238 or to Saint Peter's of the Apostle Catholic Church. The family wishes to express special thanks to Ed Carter, RN and the nursing staff at St. Vincent's MICU South Tower, as well as Cahaba Valley Fire & EMR.
