She later went to work outside the home, first at Sears in the Human Resources department, and then at Rich’s/Macy’s, where she enjoyed meeting and helping people for over 25 years.
Carol was famous for her knitted creations, and turned her beloved hobby into a philanthropy when she and her friends, Roz Feigelson and Lynette Slaughter, started a knitting group that makes scarves for cancer patients. The Roz Feigelson Circle of Life Knitting Group grew to include over 50 members, and Carol was very active in it up until just a few weeks ago.
Carol was a member of Temple Beth-El and the Levite Jewish Community Center, where she enjoyed working out and seeing friends.
Carol’s greatest joy in life was her role as a proud mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She learned how to use the latest technology to help her keep in touch with all her loved ones, and was a constant figure in their lives, even from far away.
