Cynthia D. Drake

DRAKE, CYNTHIA DIANE PORTER, age 65, of Birmingham, passed away March 30, 2010. She was born in Nashville, TN and resided in Birmingham/Moody for the past 37 years. She worked in customer service with O'Neal Steel, Bedsole Medical and Mailfast. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and playing bunco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D. Drake; and parents, Kenneth G. Porter, Sr. and Malinda Porter.

She is survived by her son, David Michael Drake (Kristi); daughter, Dianna Lynn Oaks; brothers, Kenneth G. Porter, Jr. (Bea) of Nashville, TN and Stephen M. Porter (Linda) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Andrew Jason Oaks and Emma Ashlyn Drake; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel with burial in Sunrise Cemetery. Bob Stephens officiating.
