David was a very nice guy at Homewood.  He was smart, cute and friendly with a nice smile and talented in many sports. Praying for the family at this time.

Sincere sympathy to David's family.   I was in class with him from Shades Cahaba Elementary through Homewood High School days.   Such an incredible athlete and classmate of the  Homewood Patriot Class of '75

I went to Shades Cahaba and Homewood High School with David. He was so nice and I remember his smile!  He will be missed! Prayers to the family!!

David and his family were friends of mine and my family growing up in Birmingham.  I considered him one of my dearest friends during my B'ham days.  I am so saddened to hear of David's passing.  My condolences go out to his wife and family.

I had the privilege of working for David for several years. He was without a doubt one of the finest men I've ever known. He certainly left a lasting mark on my life. God bless Celste, Jonathan and Ellen, during their time of mourning.

David an I went from Shades Cahaba Elementary thru Homewood High and both played on the 1974 State 4A Championship team together. David was a great athlete, good fellow and my friend.
