Donald B. Goldstein Jr. passed away on September 1, 2016. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 4, 1954 to Mitzi and Donald Goldstein. He is survived by his mother Mitzi B. Goldstein, his sister Vicki Goldstein and her special friend Clay Bryan, and by Donald's special friend Carol Martin, his uncle Bernard Goldstein, his aunt Ellen Aland, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Donald B Goldstein Sr. and his uncle Lawrence Goldstein.
Don grew up in Birmingham Al., and attended public schools graduating from Mt. Brook HighSchool. He attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. After school he worked with his father at Engel Insurance Company. He then formed his own insurance company and also worked as a realtor. Over the years he enjoyed Alabama football, physical exercise and traveling. There will be a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Don was loved and respected by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to American Cancer society or your favorite charity.
