We are sad to announce the passing of Dorothy Goldner Levy of Birmingham, age 107, on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Dorothy was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Leon, oldest son, Harry, and his wife Sepia. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Levy Herold (Arthur), and son, Robert Levy (Janet); grandchildren, Ashley Herold Grobosky (Brett), Spencer Herold (Sarah), and Dr. Evan Levy (Mary Kathryn); her great grandchildren, Atticus and Eve Herold and Bethany Grobosky.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 Friday, November 9, 2019 at Temple Emanu-El North Cemetery, 320 11th Court North, Birmingham, AL 35204.
Contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to United Ability, 100 Oslo Circle, Birmingham, AL 35211.
Dorothy's never ending love was for all her family and friends, and working hard her entire life to insure people with disabilities are accepted everywhere and could live a normal life.
