Miss Edna E. Hamilton

She was a lifelong resident of Birmingham. She retired from South Central Bell after 41 years in 1989 and later from Hancock's Fabrics in Roebuck after 17 years. Miss Hamilton was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Special thanks to friend and caregiver, Willie McCoy. She was an active member of Parkway Christian Church where she had many close friends including Pastor Randy Williams.

She as preceded in death by her parents, Jasper "Red" and Flossie; and sister, Evelyn "Andy" Anderson.

She is survived by her cousins, Pete and Gaye Shields; aunt, Zoe Sanderson; cousins, Joyce Burns, Carl and Susan Dean, and Nancy Dean; niece, Sherry Dortch; and nephew, Tim Crumly.

Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
