Thank you, Elaine for always being there for me when i was PK and when I visited BCOC.  I always had to find you and talk with you to steel some of your JOY!  You seemed to have so MUCH of that all about you.  I love you.

Ms. Elaine is part of so many of my favorite childhood memories. From balloon races and piñatas at the neighborhood Christmas party, to jumping on your trampoline, to using your computer to type my first book reports and research papers (because we didn't have one yet)- Ms. Elaine was so loving and welcoming to all of her 'kids' on Edgeland Place. She left a wonderful legacy with her boys- who are my lifelong friends and brothers. Thank you for all of your big hugs and your wonderful laugh- Ms. Elaine, I love you and miss you so much. Your spark will live on in our hearts forever!

Peterson boys, it will be a long time before you are not in my daily thoughts and prayers. My great aunt, your mother was an incredible woman. She reminded me so much of my grandfather whom i wish I had gotten more time with. I know God is just, i hope all of you can find new meaning in life in the ashes of this tragedy.

Mama P, you brightened so many lives. Thank you for embracing me into your family. There is so much of you in your sons- you will live on through them.

I am so sorry to have missed the service today, but You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard of that terrible accident. Your mother was an unforgettable person. She was smart, witty, thoughtful and fiercely in love with her boys. You have many memories to keep her with you always, though you will certainly miss her presence. Elaine will be missed by so many.  She touched the lives of everyone she met from the students at Edgewood, Homewood Middle School, Homewood High School, and Centerpoint.  Her legacy will live on in those lives that she touched and her wonderful sons.  There is another angel in heaven tonight.

Mrs.P will always be loved in the Moore house, we will miss her dearly. She was a dear friend and she loved her boys with all her heart. My heart goes out to each of you.

Mrs. Peterson was my son's Dante Rutledge teacher for 3 years. She was the best teacher I could have ever asked for. Everyday he was there with her I knew he was in the best hands. She loved those kids so much. She will be missed.

Guys, I am so sorry you have lost your sweet, funny Momma.  She spread alotta love around town, and was one wonderful person. Just do one tiny little day at a time.  Robert and I are thinking of you through this most difficult time.

We were all so saddened to hear this news.  I was thinking about Elaine just this week when I passed the street where you   kids all grew up.  Elaine was such a special person and I will treasure my memories of her.  Please know that our thoughts are prayers are with you all.

Elaine meant so much to her special needs children.  She loved them and they loved her.  She has touched so many young lives. I knew her through school and she always had a way of making people laugh..    My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  She will be greatly missed and was truely a special person.
