She was my grandmama, I remember since I was little her making me laugh so hard. She had this amazing look on life and she loved all of us so so much and you could feel it when you walked in the room. Her warmth would make you feel safe and one of my favorite things was when she would tell me stories, the way she would tell them was incredible it made you feel like you were actually there. She lived in an apartment in Leeds for my entire life and I loved that apartment so much it was small and warm and cozy and always smelled like Inscents and dove chocolate and she’d always have on a movie she used to have stacks and stacks of movies and bins of them everywhere. Whenever I would come over she’s always make me a bowl of strawberries with yogurt and then whipped cream on top and we’d watch movies all day and its the absolute best memory I have of me and her. Sometimes for breakfast she’d make really cheesy eggs and I think buttery toast and turkey bacon and it was so good you wouldn’t believe. I remember around the 4th of July the fireworks would be right next to the apartments and me and her would go out Of the front door kind of like a balcony except the stairs were right next to us but she and I would go out there and watch the fireworks and look at the stars. She had tons of cats and loved to rescue them and give them “human names” she also loved Buddha’s and soap operas she loved gardening and even worked at Lowe’s in the gardening section for years and years. She loved honeysuckle and old jewelry and antiques. But the number one thing I can remember about my grandmama is how much she loved me and my mom. She is the best woman I have ever known, I know she’s still with me her soul is beautiful, she is beautiful, and I know she’s in a beautiful place, I see her everywhere and I feel her everywhere, I love you grandmama forever.

Ps. You’ll forever have no eyebrows and that will forever be “creepy” to my 6 year old self
