Green, Jr., James M. age 64 of Birmingham, died May 1, 2013. Jimmy graduated from Banks High School and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked at Shoney’s for over 30 years and retired from Chef Clayton Catering. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and an avid Alabama fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Eloise and James M. Green Sr.; and his son, Timothy James Green. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Baker Green; brothers, Michael Green and Brian Green; and sister, Sandra Green; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and loving brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Lakewood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and a reception will follow the service at the church.
