Tommy has been a top Mazda dealer in US throughout his career. His leadership and dedication to the entire Mazda retail organization have been a great asset to Mazda's US operations.  He has been a very special person for us, respected and loved.  All of us in Tokyo, Seizo, Moto, Ken and Sam, miss him very much.

 Tommy was an outstanding person, father, husband, family man and a world class automobile dealer. I was gifted to have been allowed to have a close personal relationship with Tommy for over 31 years. Tommy was always there for me! Tommy was kind considerate, moral, creditable. dependalble and thruthfull; 

  As a friend, person and associate he had all the right stuff. As a car dealer; He could sell so many Mazda trucks that would drive his competitors into complete confusuion, I know first hand, it did me!

 Tommy was not bashful nor timid, time and time again I whitnessed first hand Tommy politley introducing himself to a stranger, handing them a business card and he would proclaim that by buying a new Mazda from him, "that it would make their house look bigger". Those are the little things I will miss, such as this "don't buy no ugly truck". 

Tommy was a True people person and an excellent businessman.  Tommy loved his wife Lavon, his family, friends and community with deep passion. It was a priviliage to have been allowed a place in Tommy's life, I will miss Tommy, I will think of him and I know we will all will speak of him often.

His son and I have been great friends ever since their family moved to the Birmingham area in the early 1970's.  I know he has found peace, as we all will hopefully do, when our time of passing eventually comes.

Tommy was a special person. He had an extraordinary gift of wit and wisdom. He was a good man, an honest man, and a wise teacher to those of us lucky enough to have worked for him. I'll miss him greatly.

Tommy was a great friend and even though we are LSU girls we loved talking during football time.  He was a great Board of Directer for his Condo association in Florida.  We loved working for him in Florida and we will miss his jokes,  and most importantly his smile and support.

Tommy was loved by all of us girls at the office. But most of all me,I got him to crack a smile on his worst days and I will truly miss that.We had the same birthday (he had a few years on me)So now when I celebrate my birthday I will light a candle for him as well.I will miss him with all my heart.

Tommy was a one of a kind. I will never forget our friendship and what he did to further my business career. I will miss him, but I have the example he set to guide me. Rest in Peace, thanks for all you did for me. I will never forget it.
