Janetta Bell Gibbins Jones, 85, was born January 2, 1935 in Coy, Arkansas to the late George and Carrie Gibbins. She was one of 14 children. She passed away at home with her daughter, Susan Myers (Jones), son-in-law, Bill Myers and grandson Christopher Myers in Birmingham Alabama.

She was a Christian, Mom, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Aunt to many nieces and nephews, and Friend to many. She lived in Little Rock, Arkansas most of her adult life. She met her husband, Jerome Louis Jones, in Little Rock and they were married December 27, 1958. Her husband passed away August 24, 2004 at the age of 84. She was step-mother to Ron Jones (Trish) Bryant, AR and Stephen Jones Cabot, AR. My dearest Aunt Belle, I enjoyed our conversation a few weeks ago and was so heartbroken hearing the news of your passing. I know you are happy and in a much better place . Heaven has truly gained another Angel. I know I will get to see you again one day. Love you so much, Aunt Bell. I am so sorry we had fallen out of touch, but some of my earliest and fondest childhood memories involve visiting your home or sitting in your lap at family reunions, sharing chocolate, talking about the Razorbacks and making you laugh. You were always so sweet and kind. One day I’ll get to hug your neck again. God bless this family as they grieve.

I sure do miss our visits when Momma, Mandy and I came to visit you. Listening to all the family history. You were always so loving and caring. I love you.
