John Phillip Conville

John Phillip “Phil” Conville, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles M. Conville and Pauline B. Fergerson; and grandson, James David Petruzella; and brother, Charles “Andy” Conville and sister, Sara “Cathy” Collins.

He is survived by his son, Shawn (Ashlee) Petruzella and grandchildren John Paul and Ella Grace Petruzella; Nieces, Jennifer (James) Armstrong, Leah (Stephen) Massengale; and Cousins, Wayne (Jean) Wilemon, Bo Franklin (Sandy Gartman), Hannah (Taylor) Trammell, Millie Franklin (Shuff Mauldin); and brother-in-law, Andrew Collins; and great-nieces and nephew, Ava Armstrong, Catherine and John Massengale; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was born October 12, 1950. He served in the United States Navy from 1968-1971. He was retired from ACIPCO, as a Carpenter, and loved Auburn Football. A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
