John Michael Pierce, 25 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.Though not in a time frame imagined by those who loved him dearly, John Michael Pierce achieved hishighest goal on November 17, 2021. He moved withlove and wonder into the arms of his Heavenly Father. John Michael was born September 17, 1996. He was the cherished second child of Patti and Jeff Pierce. He was a loving brother to Michelle who nurtured him and loved him ferociously. He was also was a devoted and loyal friend to everyone. He had an ability to bring in everyone and made them feel a part of the group. He loved his times of deep sea fishing, playing golf and his Old Fashioned's. He brought the fun to everything and
was known for saying “Lets make a memory.” John was also passionate about bringing others to God in his own way. He had an immense entrepreneurial spirit and loved being involved in many businesses.Though the void left in John’s absence is immense, in his short life John touched countless lives for good with his unbridled passion, authentic joy, and sincere love of God and the life he was given. There is no way for the Pierce family to extend enough gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayer received from so many, as well as to the amazing physicians and medical team at Brookwood Hospital and MD Anderson. John graduated from Vestavia High School and The University of Alabama where he earned his degree in Business and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He loved Alabama football…Roll

John is preceded in death by his grandparents Kathleen and Wheat Bonifay, Alice and Mayes Pierce, Uncle Robert Pierce and Aunt Laura Pierce. He is survived by parents Patti and Jeff Pierce, sister Michelle Pierce Jenkins and her husband Christopher, niece Miller Margaret Jenkins, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 20th at 4:00 p.m. at The Church of the Highlands, Grants Mill Campus. 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, Alabama.
