Juanita Rogers

ROGERS, JUANITA HAPER "MAMA NITA", age 85, of Birmingham, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was originally from Hale County, Alabama and lived in Center Point for the past 60 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Center Point over 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richmond P. Rogers and daughter, Sandra Rogers Elmore. Survivors include sons, Richmond P. (Sandy) Rogers, Jr., Ronald Rogers and son-in-law, Capt. Jim D. Elmore; daughter, Jane England; brothers, Thomas (Shirley) Harper and Curtis (Rita) Harper; grandchildren, Richmond P (Crystal) Rogers III, Billy Rogers, Brittany England (Derrick) Burden and Danny Elmore; great grandchildren, Amber and Garrett Rogers, Cody Rogers, Zak & Zoe Burden. Visitation will be Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Center Point, with burial in Sunrise Memory Gardens. Rev. Bobby Earls officiating.
