Lindsay was always the first to volunteer and the last to leave. She saw the best in every person, even when they were flawed and even when they could not see it in themselves. She wanted to know everybody’s story. Through her eyes, joy could be found in the big adventurous journeys or the small mundane details; she recounted her world travels and the new sidewalks in Mountain Brook with equal, unbridled enthusiasm. Although she travelled the world when she was young, her life was rooted in her love of her spouse, her family, and her community in Birmingham. She loved her family, and we loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Evan; her children, Ryne (Jodie), Casey (Nisha Kashyap), and Allie Frank (Jason); her brothers, Jeffrey Olshan (Heidi) and Gary Olshan; and her mother-in-law, Irene Raymond. Everleigh Gray Frank, her 7-month old granddaughter, gave her particular joy and comfort at the end of her life.
