Becky, I'm so sorry about your Mother. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mrs. Baggett. I have a favorite memory of her singing Amazing Grace at a gospel sing at Arbor Terrace. She had a beautiful voice.  Thinking of you.  Teresa Cummins, RN, daughter of Mary Rouse in Arbor Terrace.

She was my 1st grade teacher at Kennedy elementary in 1959-60.  She taught me to read and gave me the love of reading.  I am sure she was as wonderful mother as she was a teacher.

I am so sorry for your family's loss.  I am praying for peace and comfort for all of you. Mrs. Baggett no doubt impacted countless lives throughout her teaching career. She was one of my favorite teachers. I had her for first grade at Kennedy School and I have wonderful memories of her being a kind and loving person to all of her students.

Mrs. Baggett was my first-grade teacher at Kennedy School, back in 1961. My class could not have had a better introduction to school than with Mrs. Baggett. She was kind, fair, and professional. She loved to see us learn, and we all enjoyed learning under her. I went on to be a teacher myself. Mrs. Baggett has always been and will always be a role model for me. She was simply a wonderful teacher. My condolences to her family and friends.
