Marsha W. Robinson

Passed away on February 14, 2019

Marsha Williams Robinson May 12, 1962 – February 14, 2019

Marsha W. Robinson went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 14, 2019 surrounded by those she loved the most.

She was a former secretary for the Alabama Auto Racing Pioneers where she enjoyed spending time with her friends in the club. She was a childcare provider helping raise two generations of children. She was selfless and would do anything for anybody. She attended parties and ballgames, which she did not have to attend, she did it all out of love and her giving spirit will be greatly missed. Her time on earth has ended, but Marsha did not lose her battle with cancer, she won her battle in her positive spirit through her cancer journey. She inspired so many and won her battle in her ability to think of others despite what she was going through. She won her battle in helping to heal relationships and bring people together. She won her battle through her laughter, her presence at family functions and her determination.

Marsha is survived by, her husband Robert Robinson of 38 years. He parents Jerry and Sandra Williams, sister Kim Sanders (Anthony), brother Marcus Williams (Darlene). Goddaughters, Amanda Chappell (Jeremy) and Lindsey Fowler (Matt). Her Great Godchildren, Ethan, Elin, Nolan and Libby, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday February 17, 2019 at Johns-Ridout’s Funeral Parlors located at 2116 University Boulevard, Birmingham, AL 35233 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to a children's charity in her memory.

Marsha Robinson was my friend for more than 30 years. I can say without exaggeration she was the sweetest soul I have ever known. Marsha loved her husband, Robert, her family and her friends without reservation. She never hesitated to give of herself to those she loved in any way that was needed. I know she is the brightest angel in God's universe because she was truly an angel here on earth for so many. Now she's watching over all she loved and waiting for each and every one of us to join her. I love you Marsha. I miss your sweet presence in my life.
