Mary Alice Gibbons

Mary Alice Gibbons 11-21-1928 to 10-25-2022 passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her adoring family. Mary Alice will be remembered fondly for her gracious love for her family, her sweet giggle and the velvety smooth fudge only she could make. Mary Alice is survived by her 5 children. Michael (Patti) Gibbons, Patrick Gibbons, Karen Gibbons (Bill Bryant), Susan Lazarus and Laura (Ron) Taylor who will always marvel at the grace with with she raised 5 children. Mary Alice’s 10 grandchildren Anthony (Bailie), Jacob and Miranda Gendreau, Thomas Gibbons, Jessica (Trey) Carmon, Tracy (Cameron) Cash, Maryalice (Ben) Bludsworth, Marco Vienna, Patrick Bryant and Ellen (Zach) Nowell remember her encouraging presence and her always full candy jars. Her 7 great grand children Blake, Brody and Mary Alice Gendreau, Ophelia Carmon, Hayes Bludsworth, Grey Nowell and Ava Cash will carry forward Mary Alice’s legacy of loving family above all. Mary Alice is predeceased by her parents John B and Mary Alice Allgood, her brothers John Jr and Richard Allgood and her loving husband of 40 years, John T. Gibbons. A private family burial was held at Elmwood Cemetary. Special thanks to Oasis Hospice for their guidance and care.
