Richard Max Sherman, of Birmingham, Alabama, born April 20, 1940, peacefully left this earth April 29, 2023. He is proceded in death by his parents Max Sherman and Marjorie Lynch Sherman Hammett. Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Darla (Tabler) Sherman, daughter Michelle (Joel) Bartow of Parkland, Florida, son Richard Max (Terri) Sherman Jr. of Enumclaw, Washington, six grandchildren, Blaine Bartow, Melissa Sherman, Grant (Sofia) Bartow, Richard Max Sherman III, Gillian Bartow, and Ashley Sherman. Also survived by his sisters, Suzanne Norris and Karen Sherman (Michael) Nelson, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
